The Hombu dojo preformed a demonstration at the Orange County Buddhist temple's Hanamatsuri Festival. Sensei Thanh Nguyen is containing the tradition set by Sensei Demura.
The Hombu and local California dojos have been preforming karate demonstrations for over 40 years. There were many other events and displays at the festival along with food and games for the kids.
Hanamatsuri (flower Festival) celebrates the birth of Siddhartha Gautama.
