The Demura Cup for 2026 was held on February 19th through February 22nd 2026.
The karate portion of the Tournament was held at our old location at Costa Mesa High School, which provides a better view for spectators, allowing an excellent view of the tournament.

There were several excellent and instructional seminars, featuring several guest instructors, having seminars for karate, kumite, kobudo and batto. The main tournament was held on Saturday, February 21st, and ran smoothly and provided a great experience for all participants with the help of all the volunteer referees and helpers.

We thank all the referees and helpers for giving us their time and allowing for the tournament to be a great success


For the men Eric Tran (Kata) and Adam Kraus (Kumite) became the first two-time Grand Champions winners. Jessica Kwong (Kata) and Name Here (Kumite) were this year’s Grand Champions. We congratulate them for their accomplishments.
